A giant lizard family rises from the sea and finds an annoying human civilization that occupies their picnic area. In addition, another giant monster disrupts the family outing. In the end the son - a namby-pamby criticized by the father - ensures a successful family day.

Christian Franz Schmidt

Direction & Screenplay

Christian Franz Schmidt was born in Zwickau (1984). From 2000 to 2002, he attended the Technical college at the BSZ for technology Zwickau. In 2002-2003, Christian did his civilian service at the Heinrich Braun Clinic in Zwickau. In 2004, he attended an Internship in the photo studio Stefan Seifert. From 2005 to 2011, he studied animation at the HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg. In 2013, he became a jury member for the pre-selection of the International Animated Film Festival Stuttgart (ITFS). From 2012 to 2019, Christian was the Head of animation of a media agency (with 450 productions per Year one of the largest corporate video producers in Germany). Since 2012, he is a freelancer (FranzAnimation).
