Michael’s first ever foray into filmmaking took the grand prize at the 2008 Escapist Film Festival. In the fallout, he got a job with the company directing the American-produced Web Series Doomsday Arcade.
Since then, he’s launched his popular YouTube channel Timtimfed which features a variety of high concept film and comedy content, and has over 45,000,000 online hits.
He’s won various awards for his work in Music Videos, from directing clips of his own band to more recent work with artists such as Guy Pearce.
He wrote, directed, starred in, composed the music, and did the VFX for The Wizards of Aus, a half-hour comedy series for Australia’s SBS about a wizard who leaves the magical realm to seek a quiet life in the boring suburbs of Melbourne, only to have his arch-nemesis follow him and make his new life hell.
His inventive sci-fi short film Time Trap has been viewed 2.7 million times on YouTube and is being turned into a feature by Hopscotch and eOne.
