Two young German Muslims live together. They observe the culture, the church, the dating, the relationships and each other. One thinks pragmatically, the other romantically. The film follows the paths of the young women and how they creatively find their way being religious and modern at the same time.

Felix Herrmann

Direction & Screenplay

Felix Herrmann was born in 1988 in Munich. From 2009 to ­2013, he studied History and Iranian Studies in Berlin. Since 2013, he has been studying Documentary Directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). In 2017/2018, he spent an exchange year at the École nationale supérieure Louis Lumière in Paris. His films as a director include Junge Römer (2014), Rough Diamonds (2015), which was nominated for the German Short Film Award, Les Sauvages (2018) and The Ink Doesn't Dry (Die Tinte Trocknet Nicht, 2019).
