Alejandro, 11 years old, loves surfing and surfs at the coast of Havana every afternoon. He tells us the lessons he has learnt from the ocean: Don’t swim against the waves, but dive beneath them, use the strength of the water. But be aware that the sea can also be dangerous! One day, Alejandro runs into danger and nearly drowns. In this dangerous situation he tells himself: “Don’t panic! Look up to the sun and push yourself up as hard as you can.” With this strong sentence of resilience in mind he finds his way to the surface again.
